Bar Coder

Google Barcoder for Flying Object

I used Arduino, Node.js and RFID to create a wooden programming puzzle.

Flying Object asked us to create an installation that would teach attendees to the Google Beach at Cannes Lions how to code. We hid RFID sensors behind plywood and used an Arduino to communicate with a Node.js programme. This server then used websockets to trigger feedback animations on some attached tablets and added the user’s designed cocktail to the queue for the on-site bartenders to create.

Technologies used:

  • Node.js

  • Arduino

  • HTML 5
